Allison Basha as Newfie Electra is in boots, work clothes a yellow wig and a winning way. A clever, funny prop is a mop with the stick in a wellington boot. She has the humour of course of the Newfoundlander, since she is one, the accent and expressions are terrific. Basha has a keen sense of humour.

The Passionate Playgoer - Lynn Slotkin

Kwan and Basha are a great pairing as Mr. and Mrs. Beaver. Clark has dressed the Beavers with big tails, which are attached to overalls. No comically-sized teeth, thank goodness. For the bottom layer, the Beavers wear long-sleeve flannel shirts. If it weren't for the tails, one might think the couple worked deep in the woods. Back to Kwan and Basha. Kwan and Basha are superbly plesant as the Beavers. Basha's Mrs. Beaver is a sweetheart, while Kwan's Mr. Beaver has a little bit of gruff edge but you know he's a softie at heart. The actors are a lot of fun to watch.

Joyful Magpies

...While Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, played by Derek Kwan and Allison Basha, bring comic relief for the kids.

The East

Allison Basha stole the show for me, which was hard to do when she was surrounded by such a talented group. She was brilliant. There is nothing else really to say, she never missed a beat, she was Sister Mary Amnesia, from her first line to her very last note she was brilliant.

The Georgian

Basha tackles her complex character with verve and doesn't shy away from the more subtle nuances of the role. Hennessey provides a great counterpoint as her father, and the two make for quite the charismatic pair.

Finally I must mention David Bennett and Allison Basha. I love watching them on stage. You can see how much they love what they are doing with every movement, every word spoken, and every moment that they are on stage. They bring such a lovely energy to the stage that they make it a joy to be in the audience watching them.

The Western Star

The ensemble worked well together- with Etienne and Basha particularly enjoyable as a duo. Think of two old ladies walking through the park skit on This Hour Has 22 Minutes-yep, that sort of "best friends for ever' kind of feel.

The Georgian

Basha shone brightest with her irresistible charisma and obvious enthusiasm. She held the audience's attention and one couldn't help but root for her character throughout the show

...the chemistry between Michael Fenwick as Barney Cashman and Allison Basha as Bobbi Michelle was what made the show for me. Both of these actors have a great deal of talent and it was so good to see how they used this talent with their interactions with each other. Basha has such an energy about her when she is on stage, her facial expressions alone made me laugh out loud time and time again. These two actors were so comfortable together on stage that when there was some trouble on stage with a prop the only way the audience knew that something was wrong was the fact that it took too long before they were able to meet success with it. They covered the incident in such a way that had Neil Simon been watching I think he would have rewritten the play to include their covering dialogue.
