Allison Mary Basha is an Actor and Talent Coordinator originally from Newfoundland. She studied at Dalhousie University (BFA in Acting with Honours), and East 15 in London, UK (MFA in Acting with Distinction). Allison currently lives in Toronto, Ontario
Allison Mary Basha was born and raised in beautiful Stephenville Newfoundland Canada, to a Lebanese Father and a Mother of Irish descent. Growing up in a very musical family she was always performing and singing songs for everyone in the neighborhood from an early age, and she knew working in the entertainment industry was destined. A major influence in her pursuing a life in the arts was the Stephenville Theatre Festival which gave her her first professional gig. Hired as the youngest company member as Dionne in the musical Hair she took on this challenging endeavor with no fear and began her professional journey.
From there, Allison studied at Memorial University’s theatre program and continued her studies at Neptune Theatre’s Pre-Professional training program. She later went on to finish her theatre degree with honors in acting at Dalhousie University.
After graduating from Dalhousie with honors, Allison resided in Halifax NS for a few years where she gained experience working in theatre and film around the Maritimes. In 2012 Allison made the trek to London England where she completed her MFA with Distinction at East 15 Theatre School.
Allison resides in Toronto, Ontario Canada where she is diligently pursuing work as an actor, cast liaison, and executive assistant in Film, Television, and Theatre.
